Who would want this trash downgraded OS anyway? Insider builds are total crap so far. Even the right-click context menu is from the old version's design, which means you won't get the new options that are added in Windows 11. The menu also has a recently added section to highlight newly installed applications. You can pin apps to the Start Menu, unpin them, create folders, etc., just like you can in the previous version of the operating system. So they have not been removed in Windows 11. Surprisingly, the Start Menu Tiles work as well, including Live Tiles. Regardless of whether you change the alignment or not, you will see that TenStartMenuFixer has replaced the Start Menu's design. Click the menu next to Taskbar Alignment, and choose Left. Scroll down to the Taskbar Behaviors section, click the caron button (downwards arrow) to expand the list. Right-click on the Taskbar and select Taskbar Settings. You can use it as is, but if you want to move the Start button and the Taskbar icons to the left, Windows 11 has an option that can help. But when you click the Start button, the menu opens on the left like on Windows 10, which is a little weird. Remote Desktop has some painting issues that result in tiled pixelation.

A fix for this will be distributed via WU shortly after the release of Build 9926. If you see the below dialog box the game requires Xbox Live sign-in.

Xbox Live enabled games that require sign-in will not launch correctly.

Don’t worry, this behavior is only temporary. When you get to this screen, if you do nothing it will automatically boot to the Windows 10 Technical Preview within 30 seconds by default or you can choose it on your own. This is because a bug where a second boot option is persisted to uninstall the Windows 10 Technical Preview and roll back to the previous OS installed.

After installing this build, you may see a boot selection menu each time you reboot your PC.

As with the last builds, Microsoft may release updates to fix some of the most prevalent issues and others may be fixed in subsequent builds. Here is a list of a few issues with Build 9926.
